AEW Confirms Full Gear For November 6th In St Louis

AEW Full Gear

AEW have announced that Full Gear will be taking place in St Louis, Missouri, on Saturday, November 6th.

The event will be held at the Chaifetz Arena.

At time of writing it hasn’t been confirmed when tickets will go on sale.

Full Gear 2020 featured The Young Bucks defeating FTR for the AEW Tag Team Titles and Darby Allin beating Cody Rhodes to claim the TNT Championship. The event was headlined by Jon Moxley retaining the AEW World Championship against Eddie Kingston in an I Quit Match.

The news comes after it was revealed that AEW will be heading back on the road in July.

AEW have also announced that All Out is heading to Chicago on September 5th.

The show will mark the first time that an AEW pay-per-view has taken place outside of Jacksonville since Revolution in February 2020. Incidentally, that show also emanated from Chicago.

All Out 2020 saw Lance Archer win the Casino Battle Royale, while Jon Moxley defeated MJF in the main event.

AEW’s most recent pay-per-view special, Double or Nothing, saw Britt Baker defeat Hikaru Shida to claim the AEW Women’s World Title.

The Japanese star had held the title for over a year reigning over the likes of Thunder Rosa, Tay Conti and Nyla Rose.

The match swung back and forth with neither woman being able to gain any sustained momentum. However, Shida’s spirit was eventually broken as Baker finally clamped in the Lockjaw forcing the champion to submit to a thunderous ovation.
