The upcoming Playoff Palooza edition of AEW Collision has been taped in advance.
The taping took place on April 23rd after AEW Dynamite went off the air at the Lakefront Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana. The show saw a Women’s Title Eliminator match and Bandido defending the ROH World Championship take place on the show and a tag team match in the main event.
Those in attendance were able to provide results to the matches and segments that took place on the show. The spoilers have been obtained via PWInsider.
AEW Collision Spoilers:
- Swerve Strickland opened the show. The Young Bucks interrupted Strickland before he said anything and stated they moved Swerve’s match to the opener. Strickland defeated Blake Christian. The Bucks attacked Swerve after the match and Kenny Omega made the save. Bucks attacked Omega but he countered. The Bucks escaped a v-trigger. Swerve and Omega stand tall.
- Toni Storm defeated Queen Aminata in a Women’s Title Eliminator match.
- Max Caster’s open challenge was answered by Hologram. Hologram quickly defeated Caster.
- Anna Jay defeated a local talent in a squash match. Penelope Ford came out followed by Megan Bayne. Bayne hit an F5 on Jay.
- The Cru defeated Top Flight in a tornado tag match. Weapons were used including Mardi Gras beads,
- Bandido retained the ROH World Championship against Dralistico.
- Rush defeated AR Fox.
- FTR defeated Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong in the main event. FTR went for the attack after the match but Adam Cole came out for the save followed by Daniel Garcia with a crowbar, who threatened FTR.
