“AEW Collision” Has Shown Saturday Night Is For Fighting (In Viewership)
Concerns in viewership for “Collision” should likely be settled for this week and one of the surprising voices for that cause has been Eric Bischoff. The former WCW President has been fearless in his criticism for the AEW product, but consistently has been a big supporter of what “Collision” has been presenting to its viewers on a weekly basis, including praise for its presentation and commentary pairing of Kevin Kelly and Nigel McGuinness.
This week’s episode featured the continuation of the Owen Hart Cup tournament as CM Punk battled his old rival in Samoa Joe of the semi-finals of the tournament while Ricky Starks took on Juice Robinson. Additionally FTR put their World Tag Team Titles on the line against Bullet Club Gold and Athena put her ROH Women’s Championship up against Willow Nightingale.
