AEW Collision Maintains Strong Rating For Second Consecutive Week

AEW has pre-taped the next episodes of Collision and Rampage ahead of time.

Taped on Thursday, May 16 in Portland, Oregon at the Moda Center, both episodes will air on Saturday, May 18th. Those in attendance have been able to provide results to the matches and segments that took place at the tapings. The spoilers have been obtained via PWInsider.

The following results took place at the Collision taping:

  • Will Ospreay defeated Shane Taylor with a Storm Driver. Roderick Strong and The Undisputed Kingdom were at ringside and attacked Ospreay afterwards but he took out Mike Bennett and Matt Taven.
  • Bryan Danielson & FTR defeated Lance Archer and The Righteous. The Righteous attacked and beat Dax with a steel chair after the bout. Archer hit Blackout on a chair on Wheeler. Danielson and Daniel Garcia made the save.
  • Orange Cassidy pinned Brother Zay. After the match, Trent Beretta challenged Cassidy to a ‘wrestling match’ at Double or Nothing, saying Cassidy cheated to beat him. There was a brief brawl between the two.
  • Hook defeated Johnny TV.
  • Katsuyori Shibata defeated Rocky Romero.
  • Bryan Keith defeated Beefcake Boulder of the Iron Savages.
  • There was a segment where Jay White and The Gunns had a beaten PAC on the stage.
  • Serena Deeb defeated Anna Jay. Toni Storm and co stole the flag for Deeb’s dojo and Storm undressed and wrapped herself in it to disrespect Deeb.
  • Nick Wayne defeated Jack Cartwheel.

PWInsider also noted that while this was the order that the matches were taped in, it is unknown if this will be the order of events that will take place on the show.

The following results took place at the Rampage Taping:

  • Kyle O’Reilly defeated Lee Moriarty.
  • Rush defeated Cody Chhun.
  • Deonna Purrazzo defeated Robyn Renegade.
  • Brian Cage pinned Anthony Bowens.

AEW Star Opens Up About “Mentally Exhausting” Period Of Their Wrestling Career

Speaking in a new interview, AEW star Konosuke Takeshita has discussed his experiences working in the promotion and how it has compared to being in other companies. Takeshita described the experience as “the most mentally exhausting period in all 12 years of my wrestling career” despite the fact he is putting on consistently great matches.
