AEW Chaos To Be Addressed On Dynamite

With suspensions handed down following backstage fights in AEW, it is believed that the behind-the-scenes chaos will be addressed on Dynamite.

CM Punk stole the headlines following All Out in Chicago when the wrestling world should have been talking about him becoming AEW World Champion. Instead, they were talking about Punk’s inflammatory comments at the post-show media scrum where he took aim at The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, MJF, Hangman Adam Page, and Colt Cabana.

Following that The Young Bucks are said to have confronted Punk in his locker room which led to “a melee.” Punk is said to have thrown a punch at Matt Jackson while his friend and company producer Ace Steel is alleged to have thrown a chair at Nick Jackson’s head and to have bitten Omega.

The ramifications for all this could prove to be very serious with several suspensions for those involved handed down and CM Punk’s AEW future looking to be hanging by a thread.

The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer has reported that the events are to be addressed on AEW television as championships are involved – CM Punk holds the AEW World Title while The Elite captured the AEW Trios Championship at All Out:

“This stuff will be addressed on the air tonight. Not sure how in depth or not. Has to be because it involves titles.”

Dynamite in Buffalo, NY will see Death Triangle take on Best Friends, Wheeler Yuta defend the ROH Pure Championship against Daniel Garcia, and MJF will speak on the show.
