AEW Tag Team Champion Nicholas Jackson worked through an injury at All Out.

On the September 6th edition of Collision, The Young Bucks teamed with Kazuchika Okada and Jack Perry to take on Pac, Bryan Danielson, Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta. During the bout, Nicholas took the Big Swing and Dropkick combo from Castagnoli and Yuta.

According to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Radio, the move resulted in Jackson suffering a shoulder injury. The star then worked through the injury for he and Matthew Jackson’s title defence against Castagnoli and Yuta at All Out.

Bryan Alvarez: “So if you watched the Collision match where Nick Jackson got pinned when Claudio spun him, and then Wheeler did the dropkick. If you watch the match, he [Nick] gets pinned, and then he immediately goes for his shoulder, and he’s holding that shoulder all the way to the back. As it turned out, he got hurt in that match and worked this entire match despite being injured, and you never would have known.”

Dave Meltzer: “You would’ve known because his shoulder was taped up.”

Alvarez: “It was taped up, but, like, he could do everything…..you couldn’t tell watching the match. I mean, dude, everyone’s taped up, like Bryan Danielson’s taped up head to toe, but that’s part of his neck gimmick.”

Meltzer: “[Will] Ospreay the same way, but this one was legit tape rather than storyline tape.”

Despite the injury, The Bucks were successful in their defence after Matthew countered a splash from Yuta with his knees and rolled him into a pin.

The Young Bucks Have Set Number Of Dates In AEW Contract

Prior to All In at Wembley Stadium in London, The Young Bucks had a lengthy absence from AEW TV. It has now been reported that the reason for this is that the duo only have a set number of dates in their contracts, and Tony Khan is using them sparingly as a result.
