One of AEW‘s champions wants Beyonce to accompany her to the ring at All In.
Beyonce’s latest album Cowboy Carter highlighted the star’s Texas roots, leaning more into country than her previous work. With news that AEW All In will be taking place in Texas in 2025, Mercedes Mone is looking to make a splash with a grand entrance, and the TBS Champion wants Queen Bey at her side. Speaking on TikTok, Mone had this to say:
“It’s still a little early, but you definitely know I want a big, grand, amazing, incredible entrance. I’m going to see if Beyonce is available that day. If not, who else is big from Texas? We gotta see.” (h/t Fightful)
At Full Gear on November 23rd, Mercedes Mone defended her TBS Championship against Kris Statlander in a match that many are calling Mone’s best since arriving in AEW. Legendary broadcaster Jim Ross praised the bout, saying we’ve finally seen the best Mone has to offer after previously being critical of her presentation in the company.
Mone herself called the Full Gear match the second favorite of her entire career.
The Rock Is A Huge Fan Of Beyonce
Mone isn’t the only one singing Beyonce’s praises. During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, The Rock spoke about pulling strings to get tickets to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour before praising Queen Bey as another favorite of him and his daughters.
“We are! We love Taylor, you know, we love Beyonce. Tia, our littlest one, I call her Ti-yonce. She’s my little Ti-yonce.”
