Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker were called weird by an AEW personality.
Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker are a couple of the most well-known wrestling names in history. However, fans’ outlook regarding them has shifted in recent years due to their personal life. For The Deadman, it’s his political affiliations, while The Beast was named in a sexual harassment lawsuit between Vince McMahon and Janel Grant.
Due to these reasons, some of the people who idolized or looked up to the WWE Hall of Famers have changed their opinions regarding them, something that AEW’s RJ City implied while interviewing Alex Windsor on Hey!(EW).
During the aforementioned episode, RJ recalled the first match Windsor saw, which was Lesnar vs. Taker, and noted how it was a full circle moment that Alex was wrestling on television now, while Brock and The Deadman are “weird.”
You said the first match you remember is when Brock Lesnar beat The Undertaker. Isn’t that so nice? That full circle of now you’re on TV and then they’re weird people.
Brock Lesnar And The Undertaker Have Different Roles In WWE Now
Brock was absent for a while after being involved in the lawsuit between Janel Grant and Vince McMahon in 2024. During this year’s SummerSlam, he shockingly returned, where he attacked John Cena.
The Beast appeared again last week on SmackDown, where he attacked The Cenation Leader and Sami Zayn. Following his actions, a match between them has been confirmed at Wrestlepalooza.
As for The Deadman, he has retired from in-ring competition and mostly gets involved with younger talents. He is one of the coaches at WWE’s LFG and has even been rumored to have a backstage role for Lucha Libre AAA.
Recently, fan-favorite star, Mr. Iguana, confirmed that he has been seeing The Hall of Famer backstage watching the monitors.
