For the first time in the company’s history, AEW will be holding shows outside of the United States!
Since the company debuted in 2019, AEW has consistently been expanding into new markets – but they have yet to run a show outside of the United States of America. However, on the latest episode of Dynamite, it was announced that All Elite Wrestling will be heading to Canada for the first time in October, marking the company’s international debut.
Both the October 12th episode of Dynamite and the October 13th Rampage taping will take place at the Coca-Cola Coliseum in Toronto, ON. Tickets for both events will go on sale on August 26th at 10am ET.

This wasn’t the only blockbuster announcement to take place on Dynamite, however. Elsewhere on the show, Taz, Excalibur, and JR proudly revealed the new Trios Championship belts at their commentary desk and announced that a tournament would begin soon to crown the new champions. The tournament will culminate at AEW All Out on September 4th.
According to some reports, former AEW World Champion Kenny Omega could return to action by the time the Chicago area event comes around.
The report expanded on a line from Dave Meltzer who suggested that AEW were holding off on booking Young Bucks vs. FTR III because there was a “major angle” involving The Bucks in the works. Fightful reported that the rumor is that the angle involves Omega.
Tentative plans that “certain staff” have been made aware of will see Omega team with The Bucks in a six-man tag team match at All Out in September. Although the note comes with the caution that plans can change. Omega did return to the road earlier this year, but removed himself as he felt it was slowing his recovery.
