AEW Announcer Issues Humorous Response To All Out Violence

An AEW announcer has seen the lighter side to what was a very dark All Out pay-per-view.

For better or for worse, the events that took place at the recent AEW pay-per-view got the fans talking. Beginning the uncomfortable part of the show with Bryan Danielson being suffocated with a plastic bag, the violence only increased further in the main event match between Swerve Strickland and Adam Page. With a hypodermic needle and a chair shot to the head used in the finish, many felt that the match went too far and the ending was unnecessary. However, when asked about the show, Tony Schiavone saw things in a different way.

Speaking about the show on his What Happened When podcast, Schiavone noted that he had already seen a home invasion and arson so why not add attempted murder to the list:

“Within the last year, I got to see a home invasion, someone burn someone’s house down. Why not see a couple attempted murders? First attempted murders I’ve ever seen.”

Known for controversial spots in hardcore matches, previous AEW incidents have included Jack Perry being set on fire by Darby Allin and the use of a pizza cutter in the Deathmatch between Chris Jericho and Nick Gage.
