AEW and New Japan Pro Wrestling have announced a new partnership which sees the working relationship between the two promotions grow and expand.
The already strong relationship between All Elite Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling, got that little bit stronger on April 8th as the two companies announced a new partnership.
It has been revealed that AEW Dynamite and Rampage will be coming to NJPW World in Japan in the very near future.
It was later confirmed by New Japan commentator Chris Charlton that the deal was exclusive to Japan. He went on to describe the deal as a “great way to expand both platforms.”
The new content is being added at no extra cost for NJPW World subscribers. AEW President Tony Khan simply wrote “we did it” in response to the news.

The working relationship between the two sides goes all of the way back to February 2021 when KENTA appeared on Dynamite, furthering his rivalry with Jon Moxley who was NJPW United States Heavyweight Champion at the time.
This has since led to the likes of Minoru Suzuki, Satoshi Kojima, Yuji Nagata and Rocky Romero among others wrestling on AEW shows.
In recent months, Jay White made a shock appearance on Dynamite attacking Romero and Trent Beretta. This led to a match between White and Beretta on Rampage.
Even in recent weeks, Suzuki appeared at Ring of Honor’s Supercard of Honor where he defeated Rhett Titus to win the ROH TV title. ROH are of course also owned by Tony Khan.
