AEW has announced four matches for this week’s special Thursday night edition of Collision, airing live on May 8, featuring a mix of long-standing rivalries and fresh matchups.
Headlining the card is the latest chapter in the rivalry between Kris Statlander and Willow Nightingale, who will square off in singles action for the sixth time in their AEW careers. Their most recent one-on-one clash came at All Out 2023 in a brutal street fight.
Another featured bout will see “Speedball” Mike Bailey take on Dralistico in a rematch from the April 5 edition of Collision.
Daniel Garcia is also slated for singles action, continuing his growing tensions with FTR. On Thursday, Garcia will face either Dax Harwood or Cash Wheeler, with the official opponent expected to be revealed during the broadcast or in the lead-up to the event.
Rounding out the card, Anthony Bowens, one-half of The Acclaimed, will compete in singles competition against Lee Johnson.
This week’s Collision will air live on Thursday, May 8, at 8 p.m. ET (1 a.m. BST on Friday) on TBS and Max, moving from its regular Saturday slot due to scheduling adjustments.

Why Were FTR Suspended Following The April 12 Episode Of AEW Collision?
FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) were suspended following an incident on the April 12 episode of AEW Collision. During the April 12 show, FTR attempted to deliver a spike piledriver to commentator Tony Schiavone before being stopped by Nigel McGuinness. Later that night, FTR defeated 2point0 in a match, but continued their aggressive streak by attacking Daniel Garcia post-match. Schiavone announced on the next Dynamite show that FTR had been suspended for a week and fined one week’s pay for their actions on Collision.
