AEW is set to feature at the biggest comic convention of the year, San Diego Comic Con.
Warner Bros will have a big presence at this year’s event and that involvement will also include a panel from AEW, which is set to involve stars such as CM Punk, Bryan Danielson and Darby Allin amongst others.
The panel, entitled ‘AEW: Heroes & Villains’, is scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 23 2022 at 6:30pm PST.
The SDCC Unofficial Blog states the following:
AEW: Heroes & Villains — Join some of the biggest stars of TBS’ AEW: Dynamite and TNT’s AEW: Rampage as they take the San Diego Comic-Con stage for the first time to give a ringside view of the wildly popular wrestling promotion. The Q&A will feature a conversation with AEW stars CM Punk, Jade Cargill, Darby Allin, Orange Cassidy and Bryan Danielson, and will be moderated by AEW commentator Excalibur. This discussion will dig into the heroes, villains, and championship quests through the eyes of the biggest names in wrestling.

AEW stars regularly participate at comic cons all over the world, with the company having a regular appearance at New York Comic-Con, and recently being represented at the last few Wales Comic-Con events too, by stars such as Sammy Guevara, William Regal and Kenny Omega.
All Elite Wrestling held the Forbidden Door pay-per-view this past weekend alongside New Japan Pro-Wrestling and had some big results, amongst them were FTR becoming the new IGWP Tag Team Champions and Jon Moxley becoming the Interim AEW World Heavyweight Champion.
