Adam Page To Make AEW In-Ring Return

Adam Page poses on AEW Dynamite 2022

“Hangman” Page hasn’t wrestled a match for AEW since March 15th when he and the Dark Order took on the Blackpool Combat Club trio of Claudio Castagnoli, Jon Moxley, and Wheeler Yuta.

The company has played this situation as a beat-down so severe that officials haven’t medically cleared him to wrestle. But that could be changing soon. While Page hasn’t wrestled on AEW programming, he will be seen in a wrestling ring at an upcoming live event.

According to a Tweet sent out by AEW’s official Twitter account, “Hangman” Adam Page will be wrestling on a live event later today in Salem, Virginia.

In that match, Page will take on Big Bill, a.k.a. William Morrissey, in a first-time-ever encounter.

The live event, called House Rules, will emanate from the Salem Civic center and starts at 7pm EST.

Adam Page to wrestle in AEW ring at upcoming live event

Hangman Page has a storied past with the various members of the Blackpool Combat Club. It was Moxley who hit him with such a vicious lariat many months ago that it caused Page a concussion.

Those two fought a few more times earlier this year and had a big blow-off match at Revolution that saw Page finally beat Moxley one-on-one.

However, Page’s problems continued as Moxley found back-up in the form of Castagnoli and Yuta, and later, Bryan Danielson.

The BCC has since become one of the bigger threats in All Elite Wrestling as they’ve targeted and attacked wrestlers seemingly at random.

Their attacks even led to some uneasy alliances and reformed friendships, as seen with Page saving Kenny Omega after those two split apart some months ago.
