Adam Page Narrowly Avoided Detention At US/Mexico Border

Hangman Adam Page

The February 15th episode of AEW Dynamite in Laredo, TX saw ‘Hangman’ Adam Page take on Kip Sabian after being attacked by Sabian, Butcher, and the Blade earlier in the night.

Following the match, Jon Moxley and the Blackpool Combat Club made their way into the arena to challenge Page ahead of the upcoming AEW Revolution. Moxley said that while Page thinks they have unfinished business, they don’t, but Page insisted that he wasn’t happy with the way their last match went down. He declared that the issues between the two of them would end at Revolution.

Moxley agreed before chiding Adam Page for not having any friends, which brought out The Dark Order to provide backup to the Millennial Cowboy. After Evil Uno declared that he wasn’t afraid of Jon Moxley, Moxley made the declaration that he and Page would face off in a Texas Death Match.

“I’m Not In Prison In America Or Mexico” – Adam Page On Nearly Being Detained Following AEW Dynamite

Though the on-screen confrontation was intense, Adam Page faced danger of a different sort while traveling through Laredo, TX. The city is on the border between the United States and Mexico, and speaking at a Highspots signing the following day, Page revealed that he may have accidentally crossed the border without realizing it.

“I almost got detained at the border last night too. I might’ve ended up in Mexico by accident. I still don’t know but I had to go through a border crossing check and someone in the car, who is not an American citizen, didn’t have their passport.

“I flew into San Antonio and then drove two and a half hours to Laredo because Laredo would have been three flights and that’s just too many. It’s one too many at least.

“It doesn’t make sense, I don’t know. You tell me, you’re from Laredo, you tell me how I went through a border crossing without crossing a border, I don’t know but we did, we almost got detained, but I’m here. I’m not in prison in America or Mexico, I’m doing well.”

AEW Revolution is set to take place on March 5th and will emanate from the Chase Center in San Franciso, CA.
