Adam Page Drops Interesting Kenny Omega Tease On AEW Dynamite

Hangman Adam Page, Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks

AEW Double or Nothing ended in just about the worst possible fashion for Kenny Omega.

After the wild brawl that was Anarchy in the Arena, Omega and The Elite were left laying after Konosuke Takeshita turned on the group to align with the Blackpool Combat Club.

Omega appeared to be zeroing in on victory after a remarkable fight that had seen exploding Superkicks, thumbtacks, barbed wire, and even cutlery come into play but he was attacked by a mystery figure revealed to be Takeshita.

On the following episode of Dynamite, Hangman Adam Page was questioned about the match and Omega’s absence from the show. During the segment, Alex Marvez said that Omega had gone back to Canada to rest and recuperate while planning his next move. Interestingly, Page confirmed Omega wasn’t in the States, but he also wasn’t in Canada.

This has sparked speculation that he could be in Japan recruiting former rival Kazuchika Okada or his old tag team partner, and free agent Kota Ibushi. Some fans have also wondered whether Omega could appear at NJPW Dominion on June 4th.

At the event, Will Ospreay will take on Lance Archer to determine a new number-one contender for the NJPW United States Heavyweight Championship that Omega holds.

Kenny Omega Hints Two Friends Could Be On The Way

After the cameras stopped rolling in Las Vegas, Kenny Omega gathered his thoughts and addressed the crowd. Unsurprisingly, Omega said the war between The Elite and the Blackpool Combat Club is far from over, and hinted that backup could be on the way following the recent betrayals of Don Callis and Knonosuke Takeshita.

The former AEW World Champion said that he has “two really good friends” that could even the odds.
