Adam Copeland Responds To Demands For Monumental Rematch In AEW

Adam Copeland has addressed a common dream match request from fans.

Along with Christian Cage, The Dudley Boyz and The Hardys, all 6 men revolutionised the wrestling industry by competing in the first-ever TLC matches. Debuting a SummerSlam 2000, the high-risk stipulation captivated fans and elevated all involved. Looking to top their previous efforts, the second match at WrestleMania X-Seven is still regarded as one of the best matches ever more than 20 years later.

For the first time in 25 years, all 6 men are no longer a part of WWE. With the tag team icons all approaching the end of their careers, some fans are holding out hope that they all have one more TLC match in them.

Speaking with The Lethbridge Herald, The Rated R Superstar is aware that people want to see the 3 teams fight it out once again but prefers to leave them with the memories of the classic encounters:

“People say (they want to see it), but no, actually stop and think about it for a second. We were in our early 20s when we did those matches. We’re in our 50s now. Leave it in a very good place in memory, and let us do what we do now, which is tell better stories,”
