Adam Cole Reveals Who Impresses Him Most In WWE NXT

WWE NXT Triple H with Adam Cole and Shayna Baszler - NXT's Survivor Series thumb

Multi-time WWE NXT Champion Adam Cole recently appeared on Corey Grave’s ‘After The Bell’ podcast, during the show Cole would name which current NXT Superstar he sees as the future of the Black-and-Gold brand.

Speaking with Corey Graves, Cole would name current ‘Hit Row’ leader and former NXT Cruiserweight Champion Isiah ‘Swerve’ Scott as someone he always has his eyes on.

“So I’ve mentioned this name before, but Isiah ‘Swerve’ Scott is someone I’ve always had my eyes on. With this new group he has, I feel like he is really hitting his stride.

Continuing, the former NXT Champion would continue revealing what it is about the former Shane Strickland that impresses him so much.

To me, there’s always been something about him that has stuck with me. It could be because I am from Lancaster Pennsylvania, and I met Isiah Scott in Lancaster. I directed him towards the training academy that I was going to. I kind of watched him grow as a talent through the independents all across the world. To see him land in NXT has been really cool. I knew kind of from the beginning that he was going to be really good, now again to see him in the position he is in is really cool. He’s the guy that I am 1000% keeping my eyes on. A year from now you will really see what he is capable of.”

Isiah ‘Swerve’ Scott is currently a prominent member of WWE’s third brand, teaming alongside Ashante Adonis, Top Dolla and B-FAB as the dominant ‘Hit Row’.

On the June 22nd edition of WWE NXT ‘Hit Row’ successfully defeated Ever-Rise just days before the charismatic duo was released from the WWE as part of the latest round of talent cuts.

On the July 6th special edition of WWE NXT, ‘The Great American Bash’, Adam Cole will once again take on long time WWE NXT rival ‘The Ambassador of Kickassador’ Kyle O’Reilly.

This will be the former Undisputed Era members second clash in 2021, following their well-received forty-minute ‘Unsanctioned Match’ at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver.
