Adam Cole Comments On Possibility Of Johnny Gargano & Kyle O’Reilly Joining AEW

Adam Cole has commented on the possibility of fellow NXT alumni Johnny Gargano and Kyle O’Reilly following in his footsteps and becoming All Elite.

Rumours have run rampant following NXT WarGames with the revelations that both Kyle O’Reilly and Johnny Gargano’s WWE contracts had expired. Gargano had even signed a one-week extension to his original deal to compete for Team Black and Gold in the men’s WarGames match that his side lost to Team 2.0.

Reports have suggested that there are those within WWE that believe Gargano and O’Reilly will return but their future remains unclear just now.

Many fans and commentators see AEW as the ideal place for the duo especially considering both Adam Cole and O’Reilly’s long time tag team partner Bobby Fish have both made the jump from NXT to AEW this year.

Speaking on a panel at C2E2, Cole was asked about the possibility of an Undisputed Era reunion in AEW with O’Reilly joining himself and Fish:

“This is the honest to god truth, I have no idea what Kyle is going to do. I really don’t. I’m not sure he even knows what he’s going to do. But the idea of getting to reunite with Kyle as well as Bobby (Fish), hell yeah I would love that. Hell yeah I would, absolutely.”

Adam Cole might have been then been joking when asked who was the most eager to “kick Johnny Gargano’s ass?” when he replied:

“I would but he only comes up to my waist.”
