Active Raw star set to challenge for popular non-WWE championship.
For several years under Vince McMahon’s rule, WWE stars had to follow a strict guideline, where they could not mention any other wrestling promotion nor generally wrestle under them while being actively involved in the World Wrestling Entertainment.
However, since McMahon’s retirement last year, several new changes have come into place. While the words banned under McMahon are now freely used, wrestlers are now also allowed to work under approved promotions. WWE’s recent partnership with TNA and Lucha Libre AAA has also led to several inter-promotional matches.
However, TNA and AAA are not the only two promotions where the Stamford-based promotion lets its stars wrestle. Former Women’s Champion Natalya has also actively wrestled in Josh Barnett’s GCW Bloodsport. The veteran is now scheduled to appear on the TripleMania 33 event taking place on August 16th, 2025.
Natalya is set to face Lady Flammer and Faby Apache for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship. It has also to be noted that the 43-year-old last held a championship eight years ago, and it is to be seen if the ‘Queen of Harts’ is successful in capturing the gold.
