AEW Dynamite: Winter Is Coming 2022 saw one of the most shocking results in the history of the company.

Chris Jericho Was Shockingly Defeated At AEW Dynamite: Winter Is Coming
Jericho lost The Ring Of Honor World Championship to Claudio Castagnoli at the Final Battle pay-per-view, ending The Ocho’s reign as champion at 80 days. Irate at the loss, the inaugural AEW World Champion stated that he was going to take out his frustration on some jobber, which would be revealed to be Action Andretti later in the show.
The live crowd in Texas were behind Andretti from the opening bell, with “Let’s Go Jobber” chants ringing through the arena. When Andretti kicked out of Jericho’s Codebreaker, the crowd’s support intensified, cheering even louder when the Dynamite first timer launched any offensive attacks onto the leader of the Jericho Appreciation Society.
The match would come to its unexpected conclusion when Andretti spiked Chris Jericho to the mat. Action Andretti would then hit a Running Shooting Star Press onto Le Champion, pinning Jericho to win the match to a massive ovation from the Dynamite audience.
The Dynamite audience were not the only ones impressed by the debut of Action Andretti. After the match, AEW President Tony Khan would confirm on social media that Andretti had signed with All Elite Wrestling. Khan would post a congratulatory message along with the “All Elite” graphic that has been seen with new AEW signees.
Congratulations! It's official! @ActionAndretti is ALL ELITE!
