Ace Austin Joins Bullet Club At Best Of The Super Juniors Finals

Ace Austin

Ace Austin, Impact Wrestling’s X-Division Champion, has joined Bullet Club in a move that will have ramifications for both New Japan Pro-Wrestling and IMPACT Wrestling!

Following the opening multi-man tag match earlier, which saw Austin team with AEW’s ROH Pure Champion Wheeler Yuta, Alex Zayne and GLEAT’s G-Rex Champion El Lindaman, Austin would appear later on to interfere in the United Empire versus Bullet Club.

The IMPACT Wrestling star shocked fans at the Nippon Budokan when he appeared at ringside causing a distraction which allowed the Bullet Club trio of El Phantasmo and IWGP Heavyweight Tag champions, Bad Luck Fale and Chase Owens, allowing Bullet Club to steal the win from United Empire’s Jeff Cobb, Great O’Khan and Aaron Henare.

Austin, brandishing custom Bullet Club cards, would then go on to throw up the ‘Too Sweet’ with his new partners.

Making his BOSJ debut, Austin finished the tournament on 10 points, impressing the Japanese crowds throughout the tour.

“This is 1000% not the last that Japan will see of me. I’ve loved every second of this and I will do it as often as I can between my IMPACT schedule.”

Ace Austin has been a popular figure during the Best of Super Juniors tournament, becoming a fan favourite with fellow A Block competitor, Alex Zayne. The two having been dubbed ‘Zest Friends’, due to their exploration of Japanese cuisine.

This new move will surely help protect Austin’s X-Division Championship and further strengthen Bullet Club’s position, not just in NJPW and Impact but also in AEW, with Bullet Club certain to make their presence felt alongside the Undisputed Elite, Adam Cole, The Young Bucks and RedDragon at AEW/NJPW show Forbidden Door.

Ace Austin appears on Impact Wrestling, airing Thursdays at 8 pm ET on the AXS channel.
