Absent WWE Star Set To Return Soon

There have been “internal talks” within WWE to bring back a star who has been sidelined for 5 months.

As reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Raquel Rodriguez looks set to return to action “in the near future” with multiple sources within the company confirming the talks.

Back in February 2024, Raquel Rodriguez detailed her battles with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome [MCAS], which results in symptoms similar to anaphylaxis such as swelling, hives and difficulty breathing. While at one point uncertain to compete in the Elimination Chamber match at the Premium Live Event in Perth, Australia, Rodriguez worked through the health issue at the event and on the next episode of Raw, defeating Chelsea Green in just over a minute. Rodriguez was later removed from the active roster in March to recover from MCAS.

During her time on the main roster, Rodriguez won the Women’s Tag Team Championships 3 times, twice with Liv Morgan and once with former WWE star Aliyah. Rodriguez also won the Women’s Championship while in NXT, her only singles championship while with the company.

WWE Star Addresses Time With Company Ahead Of Rumoured Exit

Another roster change was also recently reported as it is believed that Bobby Lashley and MVP will be parting ways with the company soon as neither could come to terms with a new deal. Addressing his second run in WWE that lasted more than 4 years, MVP issued a statement as he prepares for his departure.
