Absent WWE Star In Los Angeles Ahead Of WWE Raw [POTENTIAL SPOILER]

AJ Styles Matt Riddle WWE

Matt Riddle hasn’t been seen on WWE television since being attacked by Solo Sikoa on the December 5th episode of Raw.

On that night, Riddle teamed with Kevin Owens to take on The Usos in a losing effort. Not content to simply celebrate their victory, Solo Sikoa took the action one step further, delivering a Samoan Spike to Riddle and then hitting him with a hip attack aided by a steel chair. On the following episode of SmackDown, it was announced that Riddle would be out of action for at least six weeks.

In reality, Riddle was suspended and taken off television to attend rehab after failing a second drug test. In late February, it was reported that his suspension was up and that he could return at any time according to policy. However, he has yet to return to WWE programming.

Will Matt Riddle Return On WWE Raw?

According to a new report from PWInsider Elite, Riddle is in Los Angeles ahead of tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw. This seemingly sets the stage for him to make his return to the red brand, although the report does not provide any details on plans for the Original Bro. The report does note that he was not backstage at WrestleMania itself.

While there is no information as to what Riddle might be doing on Raw, there has been a creative pitch for his return. Speculation abounds that he may team with Cody Rhodes to gain retribution on Solo Sikoa after Sikoa helped Roman Reigns defeat Rhodes in night 2’s main event.

Riddle’s tag team partner Randy Orton is also in Los Angeles for WrestleMania weekend, and it’s been reported that he could be set for a television return of his own, leading to speculation about a potential RK-Bro reunion.
