The road to Money In The Bank begins on the May 29th episode of Monday Night Raw, and the show could also feature the return of one popular star.
It has been reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider that Tommaso Ciampa is in Albany, New York for the taping. The report notes that he is expected to be returning soon, potentially as early as May 29th. Given recent teases on-screen, Johnson adds that it “stands to reason” that Ciampa will reunite with Johnny Gargano.
On the May 8th edition of the red brand, The Way was reunited on WWE television for the first time since late 2021.
Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae, Indi Hartwell, and Dexter Lumis had been regulars together in NXT before Gargano and LeRae stepped away from the ring. The group also featured Austin Theory before his own main roster call-up.
During the reunion, Gargano hinted that “he” was coming back, which many took to be a reference to Ciampa.
WWE Reportedly Has Big Plans For The Way
Now that The Way is back together, it has been reported that Triple H has “big plans” for the group. It is unknown whether these plans include Tommaso Ciampa.
Ciampa isn’t the only star struggling with injury after Indi Hartwell suffered an ankle sprain, and Gargano has missed time with a shoulder problem.
