An absent WWE star has opened up on their ongoing hiatus.
Last seen tagging alongside Pete Dunne as the New Catch Republic, former NXT United Kingdom Champion, Tyler Bate was last involved in a victory over A-Town Down Under on the 26th May edition of Main-Event.
Despite his return earlier this year from a long injury, Bate has again been sidelined from television appearances. While the absence raised concerns about an injury, the former champion recently addressed the concerns and explained the hiatus.
Sharing an image on Instagram, Bate wrote,
Not injured. Waiting…”
Bate was sidelined for the second half of 2024 with a torn pectoral muscle, but returned in March 2025 to reunite with Dunne. Apart from his Main-Event bout against Waller and Theory, Tyler Bate’s last televised appearance was on the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal, before WrestleMania 41.
