Danhausen has returned at ROH Final Battle.
The legendary Hammerstein Ballroom played host last night to Ring of Honor’s Final Battle. The show kicked off with Atlantis Jr. taking on Mansoor, and after multiple interferences from Mason Madden, it seemed inevitable that the MxM Collection would emerge victorious. However, the odds were soon evened when Danhausen made his shocking appearance.
Wearing a mask of his own face, Danhausen appeared behind Madden to the surprise of the crowd. After removing his mask, Danhausen hit Madden with a dick punch, setting up a dive from Atlantis Jr. to the outside. After Atlantis picked up the pinfall, Madden tried a sneak attack, but Danhausen was on hand to stuff teeth into the MxM Collection star’s mouth.

It’s been a long time since Danhausen has appeared on either AEW or ROH programming, last wrestling for AEW at the 2023 Worlds End PPV and for ROH back in February this year. The 34-year-old star has made multiple appearances on the independent scene during this time (GCW, DDT Pro Wrestling and Revolver are some examples), leading to speculation over the reason for his absence.
Fightful Select recently reached out to AEW for an explanation for Danhausen’s hiatus. Their report suggests his absence could be a result of family-related issues, as well as a desire to “prioritise indie bookings over wrestling on Collision on Saturdays”. With his contract coming to an end in the summer of 2025, there’s reason to suggest the very evil star could be on his way out of the company.

Fans at the famous Hammerstein Ballroom witnessed numerous title bouts throughout ROH Final Battle, with both the World Championships and the Television Championships on the line for Men’s and Women’s divisions. On the Zero Hour show before the main card, a member of the Dark Order fought through a torn hamstring in a tag team match.
