Bianca Belair is one of the finest in-ring workers in WWE, and that is an undisputed fact. One of the most anticipated contests for The EST today is a match against her former ally, Jade Cargill.
As soon as WWE paired Belair and Cargill together in early 2024, many felt it was only a matter of time before they would split up and start feuding with each other. While that has not happened yet, the seeds of a rivalry have already been sown.
It all started late last year when Jade Cargill was found battered on top of the broken windshield of a car after being attacked by an unknown assailant. The mystery attacker’s big reveal angle happened in March this year, as Naomi turned out to be the one behind the act. During Cargill’s time away, The Glow replaced her and teamed up with Bianca Belair, defending the Women’s Tag Team Championship on several occasions.
Cargill and Naomi subsequently worked on a noteworthy program, with The EST even becoming a part of it in some form or fashion here and there. Their final showdown at Evolution 2 featured Belair as the special guest referee in a No Holds Barred Match. According to The Storm, they still haven’t spoken about it, and she feels “guarded” after feeling betrayed.
Jade Cargill Says Her WWE Storyline With Bianca Belair and Naomi Is Far From Over
On The Babyfaces Podcast, Jade Cargill discussed her messed-up situation with Bianca Belair and Naomi.
The whole ordeal was still stuck in Cargill’s craw, with her relationship with Belair being the most strained and left ambiguous to this day.
I don’t know where Bianca [Belair] and I are, or what’s going on between her and I, but I know that I’m guarded in a lot of this […] I’m happy that Naomi is out of my side, but I don’t think she really is, and Bianca and I are yet to talk. So, I don’t think it’s done — I think it’s resting for now. It’s a doormat for now, but there’s so much to it,” Jade Cargill said.
After defeating Naomi at Evolution, this year’s Queen of the Ring locked horns with Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton at SummerSlam. Unfortunately for Jade Cargill, The Buff Barbie got the better of her at the spectacle in a 7-minute showdown.
It is unclear at the time of this writing where her quest for gold takes her next.
