A-Kid Advances in NXT UK Heritage Cup

A-Kid defeats Noam Dar in NXT UK Heritage Cup

A-Kid has advanced to the NXT UK Heritage Cup Final after he defeated Noam Dar on the November 5 edition of NXT UK.

The Spaniard defeated the Scottish Supernova by two falls to one in this week’s technical main event, earning his place in the final of the NXT UK Heritage Cup Tournament.

A-Kid will face either Trent Seven or The Bomber Dave Mastiff to decide the tournament’s inaugural winner.

The match was not plain sailing for A-Kid, however. Though he came close to submitting his opponent in the second round, Noam Dar was saved by the bell – subsequently scoring the first fall in the third round via verbal submission.

Dar’s upper hand was short-lived, nonetheless, as his arrogant taunting led to A-Kid equalising in the fourth round via pinfall.

The desperation to win was clear as the fifth round ended in an aimless fist fight between both men. Finally, A-Kid submitted Dar with less than fifty seconds left of the sixth round to progress to the final.

“When I heard about [the Heritage Cup Tournament], I loved it. Being a part of a tournament like this is a dream come true”, A-Kid told us in an exclusive interview.

The Heritage Cup finalist defeated Flash Morgan Webster in the tournament’s opening round on the October 10 edition of NXT UK.
