A WWE star has finally made their long-awaited debut.
Tonight’s June 28 edition of WWE Night of Champions PLE kicked off on a hot start. With a controversial finish to Cody Rhodes vs Randy Orton King of the Ring final, the premium live event followed it up with Rhea Ripley vs Raquel Rodriguez in a ‘Street Fight.’
In the third match of the night, Sami Zayn earned his first singles PLE victory in almost a year. In the fourth bout of the night, Solo Sikoa faced off against Jacob Fatu for the United States Championship. In the Bloodline civil war singles match, Fatu almost snatched the victory before an interference from JC Mateo. It was then followed up by the shocking return of Tanga Loa and the surprise debut of Hikuleo.
Standing tall at 6ft 8 inches, NJPW star and the brother of Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa, Hikuleo made his long-awaited debut. Previously speculated to be training at the Performance Centre, the 34-year-old has now revealed himself as a part of Sikoa’s faction.
Tonight’s win for Solo Sikoa marked Jacob Fatu’s first singles loss in the Stamford-based promotion and simultaneously earned Solo his first singles title on the main roster.

Earlier this month, during an interview with Stephanie McMahon on Stephanie’s Places,WWE President Nick Khan shared a special observation about Solo Sikoa.
[Nick] By the way, I also thought it was funny in that episode where Solo Sikoa, who’s obviously super strong and super tough. You go into these modes in when you’re with your family of sort of being in the box that you were in when you were a kid. You and I have talked about this before.
[Stephanie] Yes, absolutely, yeah.
[Nick] But when he was like to Jimmy and Jey, he’s like, you guys kind of picked on me, you know.
[Stephanie] And then he’s like, I was little.
[Nick] Yeah, he was sad, dude. And by the way, the camera panned to their [The Usos] faces, and they were like, laughing.
[Stephanie] Yeah, no, it’s a real thing
[Nick] Yeah, they didn’t seem apologetic.
[Stephanie] Yeah, no, they were not, they were not.
[Nick] That’s family.
[Stephanie] They told so many stories in this episode and this is why I love the opportunity to interview all of our talent, but so many different stories of how Solo the baby got all the special treatment.
[Nick] Of course, the baby.
[Stephanie] The baby, and he was like Rikishi’s favorite, according to the twins [The Usos]. And they’d come, they weren’t allowed in his room, right? But Solo be sitting on the bed right next to him watching TV and he’d be like, go get me a sandwich, and they’d come back with the sandwich and one for him [Solo] too. And the baby just look over.”
