47-Year-Old WWE Star Faces Potential Punishment After Attacking Officials During Massive Brawl

47-Year-Old WWE Star Faces Punishment After Attacking Officials During Massive Brawl

A 47-year-old WWE star could face consequences on Monday Night RAW after he attacked the officials during a massive brawl.

The August 11 episode of Monday Night RAW featured a match between Sami Zayn and the Bulgarian Brute Rusev in Québec City, Canada. Zayn was heavily welcomed by his hometown crowd while Rusev was booed.

During the decisive moments of the match, Zayn caught Rusev with an exploder into the corner and was preparing for a Helluva Kick. Before Zayn could land his kick, he was interrupted by Solo Sikoa and the MFTs.

They started attacking Zayn on Sikoa’s order, landing punches on him and then finally a running knee right to the face by Talla Tonga. Before things could get any worse officials rushed to the scene to separate the faction from Zayn. However, they were not ready for what would happen next.

The Post-Match Brawl Between WWE Stars Rusev and Sheamus

Similar to what happened last week, Rusev and Sheamus, 47, got into a fight while chaos erupted on the other side of the ring with Zayn and MFTs. Sheamus attacked Rusev with a Brogue Kick and officials came running down to separate these two.

As the officials were trying to part those two heavyweights, Sheamus started attacking the officials. He punched and threw one in the ring, whereas threw another one over the commentary table.

Rusev threw Sheamus over the barricades, among the fans and tore the Celtic Warrior’s t-shirt and kept attacking him in the Videotron Centre.

It’s plausible that Sheamus could be punished for his actions as it is not legal to attack officials in WWE. The star could get a massive monetary fine or even get suspended. Even Michael Cole was hurt from his actions as one of the officials hit him.
