43-Year-Old WWE Star Teases Massive Gimmick Change

WWE star is set for big things

A 43-year-old WWE Superstar has hinted at a massive gimmick change.

A change in gimmick is not all that surprising in pro wrestling. WWE Superstars are their colleagues outside the promotion are constantly re-inventing themselves and finding new avenues to explore. This seems to be the case for a 43-year-old star.

The star in question is the 18-year veteran, Natalya. The three-time champion hasn’t been doing much wrestling in WWE of late and has only been seen backstage working with The Alpha Academy. However, she has been honing her craft outside the Stamford-based promotion.

Recently, in an appearance in Reality of Wrestling, Natalya showcased a different side of herself. Portraying a heel persona, the former SmackDown Women’s Champion was seen wearing a black singlet with “Nattie” written on it. She also had a mouth guard with “Legend” written on it.

If that wasn’t enough, she also showed no respect for her opponent, flipping her off as though she didn’t have a care in the world.

This is a gimmick that Natalya clearly wants to continue to explore further. However, whether she will get the chance to do so in WWE remains to be seen.

Natalya even gloated like a typical WWE heel following the match

Leaning into the heel persona even more, Natalya gloated following the match. For context, she faced Promise Braxton in Reality of Wrestling and came out on top. Afterwards, she took to X to remind everyone of what went down.

She started by exclaiming that she has the world record for the most matches of any woman in WWE history. She then went on to talk about her match, where she labeled Reality of Wrestling as “top tier” and praised Braxton for her performance, before rubbing in the fact that she took “pleasure” in defeating her.

It truly is something one would expect from a typical heel, and it would be great to see this brought to life in the Stamford-based promotion.
