A recently released WWE star has jumped ship to AEW.
Please be mindful that there are spoilers beyond this.
Isla Dawn had a seven-year career with World Wrestling Entertainment from 2018 to 2025. She spent the majority of her stint there at NXT UK and had feuds with Meiko Satomura and Blair Davenport. However, she received her massive break on the American version of NXT, where she formed The Unholy Union along with Alba Fyre. Together, they won the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships twice.
The Unholy Union was then drafted to SmackDown in the 2023 WWE Draft. They lost their NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship to the then-women’s tag team champions Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey in the title unification match.
Dawn and Fyre moved to RAW in the 2024 WWE Draft and even beat Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair for the women’s tag team title at Clash at the Castle: Scotland. They lost the championships back to the latter duo at Bash in Berlin. The 31-year-old was released by the Stamford-based promotion on February 8, 2025, while Fyre moved on to team with Piper Niven as Secret HERvice (Chelsea Green’s security).
