WWE SmackDown, dated September 12, 2025, is set to emanate from Norfolk, Virginia, and here are three things that should happen on the show.

WWE SmackDown is set to be a stacked event given that it will see the return of Brock Lesnar, and he is set to address the crowd, or at least that’s what we think. Drew McIntyre will be in action against Randy Orton in a battle of behemoths, while Tiffany Stratton will defend her WWE Women’s Title against Jade Cargill, in what has become a done-to-death feud.

Either way, with all these in mind, let’s take a look at three things WWE should do on the upcoming episode of WWE SmackDown.

#3. Brock Lesnar Should Wreck Some Babyfaces

Brock Lesnar coming out to cut a promo on WWE SmackDown will most likely lead to him getting booed out of the building, given the recent controversies he has been entangled in. With no John Cena present to take the edge off the crowd reception that The Beast will likely get, Triple H could go ahead with another plan for the Beast Incarnate.

Instead of him cutting a promo, the former world champion could just beat the hell out of another babyface. This can be any star, such as US Champion Sami Zayn, Akira Tozawa (he would have to make the move from RAW), or even a tag team like Motor City Machine Guns.

This could firmly establish Lesnar as a heel and, once again, put on display the destruction he is capable of.

#2. Tiffany Stratton HAS To Move Out Of The Jade Cargill Feud

It’s time, high time in fact, that Tiffany Stratton moves on to a new feud and gets some TV time. The star barely makes an appearance in front of the fans and is mostly restricted to backstage segments. The upcoming episode of WWE SmackDown needs to be the end of Stratton’s feud with Jade Cargill, as the women’s champ can either lose her title or move on to a new feud (and NO, it shouldn’t be Nia Jax either).

From Chelsea Green to Alexa Bliss, there’s a host of stars who could challenge The Buff Barbie for her title.

#1. Drew McIntyre Needs To Destroy Randy Orton On WWE SmackDown

Drew McIntyre has one of the weirdest trajectories in WWE at the moment. He is undeniably one of the best heels in the promotion, yet he barely gets the insane amount of push and TV time as Seth Rollins. This is a major point that WWE will have to address sometime soon, and the best place to start would be for him to destroy Randy Orton on WWE SmackDown.

The Scottish Warrior has already destroyed Cody Rhodes, but for him to just demolish Orton would mean that he has taken out the two biggest babyfaces on the roster, easily making him the second biggest heel in WWE after Seth Rollins. This is something that needs to happen on WWE SmackDown.
