29-Year-Old Former World Champion’s WWE Main Roster Move Set

The WWE Universe cheers the action at RAW and SmackDown

WWE officials are constantly discussing roster additions, changes, and call-ups for its impressive lineup of talents, which includes a few hundred top-tier athletes. One familiar face who has made a name in multiple promotions, with groundbreaking happenings at times, is headed to RAW or SmackDown in the near future.

Jordynne Grace debuted for WWE in the 2024 Royal Rumble, while still the Knockouts World Champion of TNA in her third and final reign. The WWE-TNA working relationship continued with Grace building supporters and a new fanbase within the Stamford-based promotion. The 5-time TNA champion signed with WWE ahead of the 2025 Royal Rumble, and has chased championship gold on the NXT brand ever since.

The Juggernaut has been rumored for a main roster call-up to RAW or SmackDown going back months. At one point, there was talk of the one-time PROGRESS World Women’s Champion by-passing NXT for WWE’s main roster, but that obviously did not happen. Now there’s talk of Grace making the big move now that she’s spent almost one year on WWE’s third brand.

WWE Officials Planning Jordynne Grace For RAW Or SmackDown

Jordynne Grace actually is headed to the main roster, despite some rumors making the rounds. Bodyslam.net adds that the 29-year-old unfortunately had her call-up delayed earlier this year.

The Last Pure Athlete was in talks for a call-up earlier this year, and when that didn’t happen, rumors and speculation began to increase on what the hold-up was. This new report notes that officials still “fully intend” to bring Grace to RAW or SmackDown.

While the timeline for Grace’s move up was pushed back earlier this year, sources noted that her big jump to RAW or SmackDown is still in the works, but not imminent. The report did not include any updates on husband Jonathan Gresham after his recent health issues.

Grace defeated Kali Armstrong on the first NXT episode of this month, just one week after losing to Blake Monroe at Heatwave. Before that, Grace failed to dethrone Jacy Jayne of the NXT Women’s Championship at Evolution on July 13.
