The 2022 PWI Women’s 150 list has been revealed. The famous list is headed by current World of STARDOM Champion Syuri.

The evaluation period for the list is from October 1st 2021 until September 15th 2022. The rankings are determined by a set of strict criteria which can be found below.

  • In-ring achievement
  • Quality of opposition
  • Technical ability
  • Influence on the sport/promotion
  • Activity

Syuri has held the World of STARDOM Championship since December 19th when she defeated Utami Hayashishita at STARDOM Dream Queendom. To date she has defended the title on eight occasions, most recently against Nanae Takahashi on August 21st. Her place at the head of the list represents quite the leap for the star who was ranked only seventh in 2021.

Bianca Belair who captured the number one spot in 2021 has dropped to second place, while Thunder Rosa rounds out the top three. Thunder Rosa has been out of action since August with a back injury, although she still holds the AEW Women’s Championship.

Another injured star comes in at number four with Becky Lynch currently out of action with a shoulder injury. Lynch spent a long portion of the evaluation period as Raw Women’s Champion only losing the title to Belair at WrestleMania 38. Although she lost the title, the Irish star remained a high profile presence on Raw as she looked to win back the gold, a run which ultimately ended at SummerSlam.

TBS Champion Jade Cargill completes the top five, as she not only remains champion, but undefeated. The star has overcome the likes of Thunder Rosa, Athena and Ruby Soho during the last year.
