The full line-up for the 2021 NXT Breakout Tournament has been revealed.
At the Great American Bash all eight competitors were introduced on the ramp, while it was also announced which match would kick-off the tournament on July 13th.
The field includes Trey Baxter and Carmelo Hayes who have impressed in their brief outings on the black and gold brand in recent weeks. While Japanese Handsome Style pioneer Ikemen Jiro and big man Odyssey Jones are also eye-catching entrants.

The first tournament match has also been announced, with Ikemen Jiro taking on Duke Hudson on the upcoming July 13th episode of NXT.

On a recent episode of NXT, it was announced that the tournament would be returning for the first time since 2019.
The winner of the tournament will earn themselves a title shot at the NXT championship of their choosing.
The 2019 edition of the tournament was won by Jordan Myles (ACH) who defeated Cameron Grimes in the final.
The tournament also saw appearances by Champion Bronson Reed, Isaiah “Swerve” Scott, Dexter Lumis, Joaquin Wilde, Angel Garza, and Boa.
Reed and Scott have both enjoyed significant success since becoming regular fixtures on the black and gold brand. The men have feuded over and with Scott’s recent victory, both held, the NXT North American Championship.
