18-Year WWE Veteran Suddenly Gets Into Massive Fight After Championship Loss

WWE star Natalya

A WWE veteran got into a heated scuffle after losing a championship match.

AAA Triplemania XXXIII was the first edition of this historic event after it was acquired by WWE. The event saw multiple stars from the Stamford-based promotion make appearances, with a veteran challenging for the Reina de Reinas Championship.

Current champion Lady Flammer put her title up against Faby Apache and Natalya in a 3-Way Match. The WWE veteran has already had a bout in the Mexican promotion when she teamed up with Lola Vice. Nattie came in with her ‘Bloodsport’ gimmick.

The bout was an electric affair with momentum shifting between all three competitors; however, the odds seemed stacked against the challengers. The referee was doing everything in his power to ensure Flammer left as champion, with him even doing a slow count when Apache pinned her. This received boos from the crowd, but Corey Graves informed on commentary that the slow reaction was due to the referee having a shoulder injury.

Chaos Ensues In WWE-AAA Triplemania Reina De Reinas Championship Match

The referee’s odd ways added to the chaos of the match, as he even stopped a double submission attempt on the champion when Natalya had Flammer in a sharpshooter, while Apache had her locked in a crossface.

Nattie and Apache gave it their all, with multiple pin and submission attempts. At one point during the match, Natalya locked both her opponents in a double sharpshooter, but she could not get either to submit. The finish came when Apache delivered a Michinoku driver to Nattie and went for the pin, only to be rolled up by Flammer. Though Apache had her leg on the rope, the referee ignored her, which resulted in the champion retaining her title.

The drama wasn’t over as both Natalya and Faby Apache clashed after the match and had to be separated by the referee.

Even after being separated, the Mexican and the WWE veteran continued trading verbal jabs at each other. Fans will have to wait and see how this storyline plays out across both promotions.
