A new WWE tag team has been made official, and a 14-time World Champion has something to say about it.
WWE has a busy weekend coming up with several shows booked. Not only will fans get to watch The Great American Bash, but there is also Saturday Night’s Main Event and Evolution 2 on the way.
With this in mind, the Stamford-based promotion has booked a stacked card for all three events, including a major tag team match for Evolution 2. In what is sure to be an epic bout, Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez will defend the Women’s tag titles against the Fubuki Warriors, Sol Ruca and Zaria, and the newly formed tag team of Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss.
The pairing of Flair and Bliss is a partnership of convenience, as was stated on SmackDown. That being said, they are now an official tag team, and following confirmation, The Queen, a 14-time World Champion, sent a message on X. Although she isn’t ecstatic about this partnership, Flair finally admitted that The Goddess is a good partner to have by her side.

The tweet also came with a picture of Bliss and Flair together. The two were clearly posing for an official WWE photoshoot, with Bliss seemingly unhappy about having The Queen’s hat on her head. Regardless, the two will have to bring their “A” game to Evolution if they hope to leave as champions.
WWE crowned a new pair as tag team champions on SmackDown
Speaking of tag team titles, tonight’s episode of SmackDown saw a new pair become the WWE Tag Team Champions. Thanks to interference from Erick Rowan, the duo of Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy, representing the Wyatt Sicks, won the titles.
Lumis and Gacy bested The Street Profits in an epic match to become the new champions, sending the Men’s Tag Team Division into disarray. With the Wyatts at the top now, anything can happen. So, it will be interesting to see what happens next and how the rest of the division responds to this title change.
