WWE Elimination Chamber 2024 Predictions

WWE Bringing Elimination Chamber To Australia In 2024

WWE continues the ‘Road to WrestleMania’ with Elimination Chamber. The event will take place on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at the Optus Stadium in Perth, Western Australia marking WWE’s first event in Australia since 2018 and the only PLE to happen in the country.

The Royal Rumble winner, Cody Rhodes, has already chosen his WrestleMania opponent, but other championship matches will be established at Elimination Chamber.

There will be two Elimination Chamber matches, one for men and one for women. The winners will earn championship opportunities at WrestleMania.

The show also features Australia’s own Grayson Waller conducting a special edition of the Grayson Waller Effect with guests Cody Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. With these two high-profile stars in attendance and their feud with The Rock and The Bloodline there will undoubtedly be some big WrestleMania implications.

The full card is as follows:

  • Rhea Ripley vs. Nia Jax – Women’s Championship
  • Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton vs. Bobby Lashley vs. LA Knight vs. Kevin Owens vs. Logan Paul – Men’s Elimination Chamber
  • The Judgment Day (Finn Bálor and Damian Priest) (c) vs. New Catch Republic (Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate) – Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship
  • Becky Lynch vs. Naomi vs. Liv Morgan vs. Tiffany Stratton vs Raquel Rodriguez – Women’s Elimination Chamber
  • Pre-Show: Asuka and Kairi Sane (c) vs. Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae – Tag Team match for the Women’s Tag Team Championships.

Let’s look at the matches, how they came about and who we think leaves as the winners.

Asuka and Kairi Sane (c) vs. Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae – Women’s Tag Team Championships.

This match was added for the pre-show during the Elimination Chamber press event and will see hometown hero Indi Hartwell team with Candice LeRae to challenge the Kabukia Warriors for the Women’s Tag Team titles.

Prediction: Asuka and Sane are a formidable duo who have run the women’s tag team division whenever they have competed in it. But Hartwell and LeRae have held tag team gold in the past during their NXT days. However, it seems unlikely the Kabuki Warriors will be dethroned at this time. Asuke and Kairi Sane retain.

Becky Lynch vs. Naomi vs. Liv Morgan vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. Raquel Rodriguez – Women’s Elimination Chamber

WWE Elimination Chamber 2024

With Royal Rumble winner Bayley choosing IYO SKY as her WrestleMania XL opponent, the winner of the Women’s Elimination Chamber will challenge for the Women’s World Championship in Philadelphia. The participants had to win qualifying matches to enter the unforgiving structure and saw Becky Lynch, Liv Morgan, Naomi, Tiffany Stratton, Raquel Rodriguez and Bianca Belair get their shot at WrestleMania glory.

Prediction: This match features the division’s best and brightest, however, the promo between Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch at the WrestleMania XL Kick Off event made it abundantly clear they will be facing each other at Mania, therefore making this match and the championship match null and void. But at least we get the Nightmare vs The Man in Philadelphia. Becky Lynch wins.

The Judgment Day (c) vs. New Catch Republic – Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship

WWE Elimination Chamber 2024

Finn Balor and Damian Priest take on the Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate in Tag Team Championship action.

The British duo formed on the Jan 5th edition of SmackDown and quickly established themselves as a formidable unit. Picking up a decisive victory over the LWO, Legado del Fantasma and Pretty Deadly in a Number One Contendership Fatal Four Way Qualifier, they went on to beat DIY to get their shot at the titles.

Prediction: Over the past few weeks WWE has re-established its tag team division with Bate and Dunne leading the charge. Balor and Priest on the hand have defeated all who challenged for the title and aren’t going to stop this close to WrestleMania, especially with the potential Awesome Truth rivalry approaching. Judgment Day retains.

Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton vs. Bobby Lashley vs. LA Knight vs. Logan Paul vs. Kevin Owens – Men’s Elimination Chamber

WWE Elimination Chamber 2024

Seth Rollins will find out who his facing at WrestleMania XL when one of these six men emerges from the chamber as the victor. Again all of the participants had to qualify for the match giving fans a match stacked with WWE’s top performers.

Prediction: This match is McIntyre’s to lose. Since Survivor Series: WarGames the giant Scot has elevated his position with strong performances and stellar promos. This work has put him at the top of the card and on his way to WrestleMania. Drew McIntyre wins.

Rhea Ripley vs. Nia Jax – Women’s Championship

WWE Elimination Chamber 2024

The hometown hero Rhea Ripley defends her title against her toughest challenge to date, Nia Jax.

Ever since Jax made her return to the company, she has focused on taking Ripley down. On her first night back she squashed the Nightmare with several Annihilators temporarily taking out of action. This set up a five way championship clash at Crown Jewel but despite failing to topple Ripley, Jax has remained in her business. On the January 29th edition of Monday Night Raw, Jax once again took out the dominant champion with a series of huge legdrops. The following week an enraged Ripley demanded Jax step in the ring before Adam Pierce revealed he had setup their clash at the PLE for the title.

Prediction: WWE has done a stellar job building Jax to be a credible threat and there could’ve been a strong chance she could’ve dethroned Ripley if weren’t for the promo the champ and Becky Lynch cut on each other at the WrestleMania XL Kick Off show. The promo made it obvious that Ripley will be defending the title against Lynch in Phillidelphia. Rhea Ripley retains.

Elimination Chamber, streaming live at 5 AM ET/2 AM PT on Saturday, Feb. 24th, on Peacock in the United States and on WWE Network everywhere else.
