John Cena has previously hinted that WWE would need to make one of his dreams come true for there to be any chance for the star to stay back beyond his retirement tour.
In case you’re living under a rock, John Cena is currently embarking on his retirement tour and only has eight dates left. His final match will come on December 13 at Saturday Night’s Main Event, and before that, he’s trying to go through as many of his former rivals and opponents, and current stars on the roster as possible. His last match was against Logan Paul at Clash in Paris, while he is set to enter a bitter feud with arch-rival and former nemesis Brock Lesnar.
Lesnar returned to WWE on the second night of SummerSlam and took out Cena with an F5, soon after the latter lost his 17th world title to Cody Rhodes.
It has been more or less written in stone that John Cena will be retiring once his farewell tour comes to an end on December 13. However, there could be one way to make the star stay or come out of retirement for one final match.
John Cena Has Previously Hinted That WWE WrestleMania In London Is One Of His Dreams
While any other show in the US would not cater to Cena as such, there’s one event that could really make Cena jump up in joy and lace up his boots again, and that’s WWE WrestleMania in London.
John Cena has spoken extensively about his love for London and how it was his dream to see a WrestleMania in the capital city of England. The star even talked about the same during an interview last year with BBC’s The One Show.
I run by the construct in my life that I never try to pick my opponents because that’s way above my pay grade, but I have been an active advocate for London to be a host of WrestleMania. And a lot of people think when I go out to the middle of the ring and I say that it’s just for the local moment, ‘we want to make the show happy.’ Fans in the UK, WWE fans are the best, and fans in London specifically will let you know how they feel. I can’t choose an opponent, but if I can choose a venue, it would be the O2 in London.”
John Cena says on The One Show that his dream last match would be a match at Wrestlemania in London as the UK has the best fans in the world 🇬🇧
I love this guy so much🥹
Watching his last match in person would be the best experience, I hope they can somehow make it happen🤞 pic.twitter.com/NW3QpnuQyK

While WrestleMania 42 is already set for Las Vegas, if WWE and Triple H can make WrestleMania 43 happen in London, there is a high chance John Cena would want to be a part of it. It remains to be seen whether that can happen sometime in the future.
It should be noted that this is an opinion piece and should not be perceived as news.
