AJ Lee made her triumphant return to the WWE on this week’s episode of SmackDown in Chicago, Illinois. However, this could spark an idea for Seth Rollins to devise another maneuver to outwit his hated nemesis, CM Punk.
The Visionary already had an ace up his sleeve when he executed “The Ruse of the Century” by taking away The Second City Saint’s World Heavyweight Championship. He’s been emphasizing over the past few months that the latter won’t be a world champion as long as he’s around and breathing. Now, with AJ Lee returning to even things up for Punk against Rollins and Becky Lynch, it could elicit another plan by the current World Heavyweight Champion to stick it to The Second City Saint.
With that, let’s dive into who could be Seth Rollins’ other “Plan B.”
DISCLAIMER: This is an opinion piece, as this is a fantasy booking on what will happen next after AJ Lee’s WWE return
3. Elayna Black (fka Cora Jade) will cost CM Punk and AJ Lee their match

Now that all things are even between Punk and Seth Rollins, a potential mixed tag team match could possibly be in the works. Wrestlepalooza will be WWE’s PLE debut on ESPN, and what better way to beef the card by including the mega match between the two power couples.
During the closing moments of that match, Punk and Rollins are both knocked out cold on the outside while Lee and Lynch are left motionless inside the ring. Lee could then regain her consciousness and set up her Black Widow submission maneuver on The Man. When the current Women’s Intercontinental Champion is about to tap out, the lights will go out, and a masked person will suddenly surface. She will then beat up AJ, who got distracted at that point, and execute a double hook DDT.
Lynch will cover AJ for the victory and will celebrate yet again on her fallen opponent while Rollins is dragging Punk towards her defenseless wife. The heel duo will unmask that person, to be revealed as Cora Jade (aka Elayna Black), who’s making her return after her sudden release from the WWE.
The Gainbridge Fieldhouse crowd in Indianapolis will boo the trio as they know Jade is Punk and AJ’s wrestling “daughter.” They will stand tall amid the sea of boos while Rollins is laughing maniacally and holding Punk’s head.
2. Cora Jade will explain her actions towards her wrestling parents

The next night on RAW, Cora Jade will be greeted by an irate crowd in Indiana, with many hurling abuses. She gets into the ring and asks for a mic to give her side of things, but she can’t speak because the boos are increasingly rampant.
Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch will come out to aid their newly-found ally, and Jade could proceed with her address. The returning star will explain how CM Punk and AJ Lee abandoned her at the toughest time of her life (her WWE release), and that is why she decided to take revenge.
This is similar to what The Visionary used to feel when The Second City Saint didn’t respond to his texts and messages during the latter’s wrestling sabbatical.
The Sorceress of Sin will add that Rollins and Lynch were the ones helped her by lobbying WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H to hire her back. Jade will end her speech by tagging the couple as the “greatest of all-time” and by declaring them as her new “wrestling parents” by joining The Vision, further beefing up the villainous faction.

By that point, The Judgment Day could be dissolved when Finn Balor turns on Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh. Liv Morgan, meanwhile, will make her return to destroy Roxanne Perez and even Raquel Rodriguez.
Searching for answers, Perez will turn to her long-time friend and rival Cora Jade to help her find some sanctuary. The Sorceress of Sin will then force The Prodigy to choose to either join her in The Vision with Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, and company, or go along with CM Punk and AJ Lee.
Perez eventually joins her wrestling parents for a mixed trios match at Crown Jewel in Perth, Western Australia. During the match, the 23-year-old looks good and has some camaraderie with The Second City Saint and the former women’s champion. As the closing moments of the match arrive, The Prodigy could accidentally be knocked out by Lee, who was actually aiming for Jade. The latter will attempt to unleash her DDT, but will be put in the Black Widow submission.
The Sorceress of Sin is about to submit when all of a sudden, Perez clobbers Lee from behind, and the referee calls for a bell to stop the match via disqualification. This is due to Lee’s inadvertent hit on The Prodigy, which the latter apparently took exception to and saw as a betrayal by her wrestling “mother.”
Perez and Jade will all take turns on Lee as Lynch enjoys what she’s seeing. Meanwhile, Rollins is destroying Punk outside and hits a stomp on the announce table to leave him lying. Lee is defenseless at this point, and The Prodigy will close things out by hitting her Pop Rox finishing move.
This will cement Jade and Perez’s official betrayal of their wrestling parents, something Rollins has been concocting all along.
