WWE Hall Of Famer Begs Ric Flair To Stay Out Of The Ring For Good

WWE Hall of Famer Jake “The Snake” Roberts has voiced his concerns about wrestling legend Ric Flair potentially stepping back into the ring, warning that it could harm the 75-year-old’s celebrated legacy.

Speaking on an episode of his podcast The Snake Pit, Roberts addressed speculation about Flair wrestling another match, despite his age and long career. His message to the “Nature Boy” was direct and heartfelt.

“Wow, please don’t, Ric. Please don’t.”

Roberts said, emphasising his disapproval of the idea. When asked whether he believed Flair’s continued attempts to return to the ring were tarnishing his legacy, Roberts expressed disappointment.

“Yeah, it’s a shame, man, but he keeps grabbing for straws.”

Roberts remarked, suggesting that Flair’s efforts to revisit his glory days might be misguided. Flair, widely regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers in history, retired in 2008 following a defeat to Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 24 after a legendary career spanning several decades. However, he has since participated in a handful of matches, including the tag match where he teamed with Andrade against Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett which was dubbed his “final match,” and recently hinted at the possibility of stepping back into the ring for what he claims would be another final bout.

Recently Ric Flair shared why he thinks WWE is a “better fit” for Mercedes Mone.
