WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash opened up about the possibility of making a comeback to the world of professional wrestling.
In an episode of his podcast Kliq This, Kevin Nash shared a candid conversation he had with his wife about returning to the WWE. Nash revealed that his wife broached the subject, asking if he ever considered going back to the wrestling world.
My wife looked over at me at one point and she goes ‘Would you ever go back?’ I said ‘No, that’s a different part of my life.’
However, Nash didn’t completely close the door on a potential return to the WWE. He expressed a willingness to consider opportunities if they came from a specific source.
I said ‘I’ll go back and see Paul and if Paul needed me for something I would do it.’
Nash explained, referring to Paul Levesque, better known to wrestling fans as “Triple H,” who now holds a significant executive position in the WWE as the CCO. The former world champion elaborated on the conditions under which he might consider a return:
If they had a project or something like that that I found entertaining or something I’d want to do.
This statement suggests that Nash is open to non-wrestling roles within the company, possibly in a promotional or advisory capacity. When pressed by his wife about the possibility of an in-ring return, Nash was unequivocal in his response.
She said ‘But not in the ring?’ I said ‘F**k no.’
He stated emphatically. Nash then added a touch of humour to drive home his point:
And then I laughed and I said ‘Babe, you know I’m 65, right?’
While Nash seems content with his Hall of Fame status and life outside the ring, he hasn’t completely ruled out future involvement with the WWE.
Why Did Kevin Nash Enjoy Working For TNA?
Kevin Nash spoke about why he enjoyed his tenure with TNA and said that it was due to the fact that TNA taped their shows just a 68-minute drive from his house and he didn’t have to go on the road very often which meant he had more time for other projects such as movies.
