TNA Wrestling had considered inducting Monty Brown into its prestigious Hall of Fame this year, but the plans fell through due to difficulties in contacting the former star.
On October 17th, TNA announced that both Rhino and Bob Ryder would be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame at the Bound For Glory pay-per-view. The news was widely praised, with fans expressing that both individuals were deserving of the honour. However, according to Matt Hardy, Monty Brown was also under serious consideration for induction this year.
Speaking on the latest episode of “The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy,” Hardy revealed that there was strong support within the company for Brown’s inclusion.

Hardy said, emphasising the enthusiasm many had for Brown’s induction. However, the plan faced a significant hurdle: the company couldn’t get in touch with Brown. Hardy explained:
Monty Brown was someone that was up for consideration, but it seemed like they were having a hard time getting ahold of Monty Brown, he’s off the grid it seems like.
Despite the efforts, Brown remained unreachable, preventing the company from moving forward with the induction. Hardy also noted that Brown would have been a particularly fitting candidate this year, considering that Bound For Glory is taking place in Detroit.
He would’ve been a really killer candidate too considering it was in Detroit.
While fans may be disappointed that Monty Brown wasn’t inducted this year, TNA’s Hall of Fame class still promises to be a memorable one, with Rhino and Ryder set to be honoured at Bound For Glory.

TNA Knockouts Champion, Jordynne Grace, revealed she has been filming in the UK for an upcoming movie titled “Welcome To Paradise.” Grace is reportedly set to portray the role of Lisa (Jacked Wrestling Demon Form) in the feature film. The film synopsis on IMDB reads “A woman finds herself in a strange, magical carnival with no memory of anything but her own name. Time is running out, can she find her way back to reality or will she succumb to her fantasy?”
