The WWE Hall Of Famer Arn Anderson Says Made His Career

WWE Hall of Famer Arn Anderson revealed a surprising twist in his illustrious career, thanks to fellow WWE Hall of Famer Junkyard Dog, that he believes made his entire career.

As a founding member of the legendary Four Horsemen and a highly respected in-ring technician, Anderson’s contributions to the industry are monumental. However, during an appearance on “Stories With Brisco and Bradshaw,” he attributed his joining forces with Ole Anderson to become Arn Anderson to JYD.

Anderson recounted a crucial moment when he was brainstorming ideas for a tag partner under the guidance of Bill Watts.

We’re sitting around at TV, everybody was in one room for Bill Watts and he said, ‘We gotta get you a partner and we’ll see any ideas?’ And nobody had any ideas,

Anderson shared. Then JYD chimed in, suggesting:

Hey Bill, Lunde looks just like Ole Anderson, why don’t you send him [to Jim Crockett] and make him an Anderson?

Reflecting on this unexpected suggestion, Anderson expressed gratitude, stating:

Had it not been for JYD, I might’ve never been anything. So that’s how stuff happens in this business.

When Anderson met Ole Anderson, the resemblance was immediate.

They call us in. I walked in and Ole looked up and says, ‘Damn you do look like me.’ I didn’t know if that was good or bad, but he said, ‘I’ll tell you what, we’ll give it a try. We’re gonna call you Arn Anderson.’ That’s how it was born that day, just like that.
